November is NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP MONTH!

Students now is the perfect time to start researching scholarships for college! Check out scholarships from "Scholly" via Sallie. 2026 Youth Ambassador Program - Phoenix Sister Cities
- This is an exciting program for high school sophomores & juniors to become part of a global community and learn about different cultures by serving as a Youth Ambassador.
- Each Youth Ambassador spends 3 weeks abroad in one of our sister cities in June, then hosts their international counterpart here in Phoenix in July.
- This enriching experience helps students develop cultural awareness, improve their leadership skills, and make new friends!
- Scholarships are also available for this program!

The University of Arizona - KEYS Research Internship
Applications for the 2026 program open on Monday, November 3rd and close on Thursday, December 18th.
- The 2026 KEYS Research Internship will take place June 1 - July 17, 2026, and be conducted in the following modalities:
- In-person on the U of A campus in Tucson, with campus housing available for out of area interns selected to participate.
- Hybrid on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix. These select number of internships will be offered to students who live in the Phoenix area and are interested in medicine, neuroscience, and/or molecular and cellular biology. Interns will participate in-person to conduct their in-laboratory research work and virtually for weekly science seminars and socials activities.
- Virtual internships are available for highly motivated students with interests and/or skills in computational biology and/or bioinformatics.

STAND 2025-2026 - Maricopa County Public Health
STAND, Students Taking A New Direction, is a youth-led movement that empowers young leaders to advocate for a tobacco-free future. Students between ages 13-19 can participate! Students Taking a New Direction (STAND) Youth Coalition | Maricopa County, AZ . Benefits of participating include:
- Gain work and real-life experience for your resume
- Work with and meet new people
- Improve your community and become a voice within your community
- Youth can receive incentives for their participation!
- Great opportunity to gain community service volunteering as well!
