- Future Teacher Scholarships - The Future Teacher Scholarship was established by the Charro Foundation to encourage high school seniors in the Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) to pursue a career as a teacher at one of the following universities: GCU, ASU, UA or NAU. Each year, two $25,000 four-year scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in both academic and non-academic activities during their high school years.
- Scottsdale Champion Scholarships - The Scottsdale Charros have a long history of supporting Scottsdale’s youth through scholarships, grants, and other education-based initiatives. The Scottsdale Champion scholarship is designed to recognize one male and one female Scottsdale resident who have demonstrated superior achievement in high school with a one-time $2,500 scholarship.
- Scottsdale Community College Scholarship - The Scottsdale Charros have been proud supporters of Scottsdale Community College since the school’s inception in the 1960s. In the spring of 2015, the first Charro Foundation Scottsdale Community College Scholarship was created. This $5,000 two-year scholarship is awarded to an SUSD high school graduate who is attending Scottsdale Community College.
- Grand Canyon University Scholarship - GCU has been an incredible partner to the Scottsdale Charros and to Scottsdale public schools. This scholarship honors one SUSD senior who will be attending Grand Canyon University in the fall with a one-time $2,500 scholarship.
- Nursing Scholarship - The Scottsdale Charros have been proud supporters of Scottsdale’s front line workers including nurses. This $5,000 two-year scholarship is awarded to a Scottsdale resident who is pursuing a degree in nursing-related studies at Scottsdale Community College or one of the following universities: GCU, ASU, UA or NAU.
- The Wayne Botkin, Jr. Memorial Scholarship - Scottsdale Charro Wayne Botkin, Jr. made a large impact on the Scottsdale community as a leader, philanthropist, and beloved family dentist. This one-time $2,500 scholarship honors one SUSD senior who will be pursuing pre-med or pre-dental students to one of the following universities: GCU, ASU, UA or NAU.

Kibler Cares Healthcare Scholarship
The application is now available for the Kibler Cares Scholarship! Seniors, if you are planning to eventually pursue a career within the healthcare field, this scholarship may be for you.

- FAFSA Simplification: This year's FAFSA has undergone significant changes to simplify the application process. File as soon as possible to maximize student eligibility.
- Key Deadlines: Keep up with any federal, state, or institutional specific deadlines to avoid missing critical opportunities!
- Student Aid Report (SAR): After submitting their FAFSA, students should review their SAR carefully to ensure all information is correct and to understand their "Expected Family Contribution" (EFC).
- Calculate Student Aid: Parents can use the Federal Student Aid Estimator to determine how much federal aid they will qualify for.
