Testing Information
PSAT - Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024
The PSAT is being given at Chaparral on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. It is digital and will require a school-issued device. All sophomores are automatically registered. Juniors that would like to take the PSAT need to pay the $20 fee for the test either in person at the bookstore with cash or check, or online in Touchbase with credit or debit cards. The deadline to pay for the PSAT for Juniors is September 12th and there will be no exceptions.
PSAT Registration Instructions:
Log on to https://az-scottsdale.intouchreceipting.com/ using your student’s ID as the username and last name (first letter capitalized) as the password, i.e., username: 123456; password: Bird
The screen will say, “Who are you shopping for?” Select your junior.
Click Make a Purchase.
Select Items at Student’s School- Registration Payments.
Click Fees and Club Activities.
Select Student Fees.
There will be an alphabetical list. Scroll down to PSAT- Chaparral.
You will be unable to pay for the fee until outstanding fees are paid.
Once it is paid, Mrs. Bird will register your Junior for the PSAT. Nothing else needs to be done.
Students will need a school device for PSAT testing and should be updating it regularly.

ACT - Tuesday, April 1st, 2025
The ACT is being given at Chaparral on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. It is digital and will require a school-issued device. All juniors are automatically registered and take the ACT during their regularly scheduled school day. The test is free. More details are to come from our testing coordinator, Mrs. Megan Bird.
If a student would like to take an additional ACT, they will register themselves. To register for the ACT, please visit www.actstudent.org. The process will take about 20-30 minutes. If you have any questions, please contact ACT, directly.
SAT
Chaparral does not offer an SAT. To register for the SAT, please visit www.collegeboard.com/sat. The process will take about 20-30 minutes. If you have any questions, please contact the College Board, directly.
