  • Reviewing academic records

  • Self-reporting grades for college applications

  • Proof of enrollment

  • Job applications

  • Car insurance verification

Unofficial transcripts lack an official seal or signature.

Official Transcript

An official transcript is a record of a student's academic history, including courses taken and grades earned. An official transcript includes a school seal and signature.

  • For current seniors:
    •  if you're submitting college applications through the Common Application, counselors will submit official transcripts on your behalf to listed colleges.
    • if you're submitting college applications directly (not through the Common Application), submit transcript requests through Major Clarity, if necessary. This is also where NCAA requests should be made.
    • final transcripts must be requested through Parchment in late May - don't forget to select "Hold for Grades".
  • For former/alumni students, transcripts must be requested through Parchment.
